The idea
Practices publish cancellations to a waitlist; patients set their availability once and get first-come offers by push notification. The practice fills dead slots, the patient skips the queue.
Why now
Practice-management systems finally have APIs, and patients learned during the pandemic that healthcare can, in fact, be booked like anything else.
